BIKE SECURITY

Unfortunately we had a bike theft last week, this despite the use of bike stands and a security lock. We remind members to please secure bikes as firmly as possible. Bike stands are available to front a rear of the club house.

We welcome any suggestions on improved, more secure bike stands. If you have done or are prepared to do some thorough research to propose some recommendations, please email the committee (contact details below). Any assistance is most appreciated.

SQUASH STARS – CALLING ALL PARENTS OF 5-11 YEAR OLDS!

Squash Stars is a new junior squash initiative from England Squash to engage kids as young as five to pick up a racket and begin a life-long love of the game. The six-week programme, will soon start at Grafton from 10 September and it will introduce children aged 5-11 to the game of squash. We want to help them soar in every aspect of their life and that starts with a positive experience with sport.

Children enrolling will then be invited to join Grafton’s Junior Groups in order to continue on their path to becoming a Squash Shinning Star!
