Hello all: Many thanks for entering the Club Championships. The tournaments start today- 1 May!!! Finals Weekend is 8/9 August. * Fees should now have been paid. Please pay any remaining entry fees to the bar before your first match or we will scratch your name from the draw. No pay, no play. * If you were looking for a partner, please do look at the doubles' draws. Our apologies if we weren't able to find you a partner as requested. * First-match singles losers will be entered into a mixed gender Singles' Plate competition. The finals for the Plate will also be on Finals Weekend on 8/9 August. * The website is temporarily down so the draws are on the noticeboard at the clubhouse. We will also try to send the draws as an email attachment asap- but for now please go to the clubhouse to find out if Lady Luck has smiled upon you. * As we don't have a website to upload current scores and matches, we need each and every one of you to be proactive in contacting your next opponent. * All tournaments have different play-by dates so please take a note of these. Try to arrange your matches soonest while the weather holds up rather than waiting for the last possible moment. * Matches are best-of-three normal sets. The third set should be a long set or a 10-point tiebreak if time/light is against you. * When you book your court please note who your opponent(s) is / are, so we can try to keep track of what matches have been arranged. * The onus still rests on you to arrange your matches in due time. Please do not expect / presume to receive chaser or reminder messages. * If for reasons beyond your control matches can't be played by the play-by-date (rain, last-minute work trip etc) then please let the organisers know as soon as possible.
