Mixed, Men's Doubles and Legends Finals Before a large Wednesday crowd, James and Jessy got the better of Ben and Morvern. But if you somehow missed that match, don't worry as this week we have 2 more finals on the cards: Men's Doubles Final James and David vs Patrick and Daniel Tues 30 Aug see you at 7pm Legends' Final Richard Barker vs David Whitlam Sat 3 Sept see you at 1230 Yes! On the same day as the Fox Trophy and Fox Party-- so that could be a fun, lively affair! FOX TROPHY AFTER PARTY : 3rd September 6pm It's almost time for the 2017 FOX TROPHY Extravaganza! Whilst all places are currently full for the competition, the after-party will be one not to be missed. Come along and watch the final rounds of the tournament from 6pm and then party to the early hours Grafton style! There may be even be a rendition or two of that old family favourite "What does the fox say?" If you'd like to be put on the reserve list for the all-day tournament, please email: graftonfox2016@gmail.com Squash Court Repairs Following the heavy rain and flood damage to Court 3 on 23 June, the repair work to the squash court floors is to take place on the weekend of 3/ 4th Sep. Courts 1 + 2 will also be sanded back and re-sealed and these will be done first on Sat 3 Sep, so that they will be ready for play on morning of Sun 4 Sep. Court 3, which is having a new floor, will be ready for play on Mon 5 Sep. This is excellent news- thanks to everyone for being so patient! Oktoberfest, 1 Oct from 7pm Ladies and Gentlemen (Damen und Herren) Good News!! The end of Summer won't be so bad after all - the second Grafton Oktoberfest is coming! This year we’ll be putting together an even larger selection fine German beers, wines and of course schnapps for you to sample. Add mouthwatering Wurst & Sauerkraut and you've got a full-blown OKTOBERFEST! To complete things, look forward to a beerhall soundtrack, late licence and a smattering of fun and games. Put on your Oktoberfest hat (we may even provide some...), bring friends /partners / family members to help us usher in Autumn in style... the more the merrier! Entry is free but please sign up at the bar so we can organise catering.
