Greetings Graftonites, Winter seems to finally be behind us, and with that we see the end of our winter tennis tournaments. Two tournaments. One massive day at the Club this Saturday. 1000 Mixed semis 1200 Mixed and Handicap Finals. Followed by trophy presentations and the climax of the Six Nations rugby in the bar. Do read on: - WINTER MIXED AND TENNIS HANDICAP GRAND FINALE - DATES FOR YOUR DIARY ***If you wish to put an announcement in next Monday’s broadcast, the only way to do so is by sending your broadcast to graftoncomms@gmail.com by Friday 6pm.*** WINTER MIXED/HANDICAP FINALS, 18 Mar After a Grand Slam effort, especially for the Handicap Tournament, (both in size of the field and the task of keeping track of scores like -50/+30!!!), next Saturday will be the final of the Inaugural Grafton Winter Handicap Tournament. Semis are ongoing: James Colver vs James Askew Andy Pauer vs Vincent Lefebvre, so a special shout out to those guys for their excellent achievement. We're really pleased that everyone has ventured into this with a spirit of friendly competition so please continue in this vein and come down to support your finalists. As for the Winter Mixed? It's all to play for-- a crowd is needed for both events- so do come down to support. All day bar of course!!!
