WINTER MIXED 2018/2019
Autumn is creeping up on us, so it's time to start thinking about the WINTER MIXED TENNIS tournament!!! For newbies, the idea is to keep us and the courts jumping in the dark months and to mix people up - and there might be some great prizes to grab...
Finals Day will be 16 March – win or lose, all participants will most probably be involved that day so pencil it in your diaries now.
The format will be confirmed in due course (very probably round robin followed by knockouts) but meanwhile please:
1. Sort your partner (if don’t have one don’t worry. We can help, just get in touch)
2. Enter via the following email address wintermixed1819@gmail.com or folder behind the bar
3. Pay £10 per pair at the bar and note that you've paid.
NB. Entry deadline 23 October
Tournament starts 01 November
AND….Finals Day will be on 16 March – win or lose all participants will most probably be involved that day so pencil it in your diaries
Please enter only if you fully intend to play. We are hoping for 32 pairs ideally.

BACK COURTS / FLOODLIGHTS
Work has been hampered by poor weather but we fully expect the artificial clay to be ready by next weekend... Please check Mycourts for booking availability. We will issue instructions on essential sweeping/maintenance.
Floodlights are being fitted/connected 1/2 October so, all being well they will be available from 3 October. Again please check Mycourts for availability.

Grafton Facebook and Twitter pages - for photos and updates, for example of team match reports. Twitter is particularly under-used...Team Captains: let's see your creative flair!!!
graftoncommittee@gmail.com - for everything else. Rather than picking on one or two Committee members, and randomly texting / emailing them with questions / updates, why not use the Committee email? Every Committee member has access to this, and also means that our volunteers get to switch off on occasion.
