CHRISTMAS PARTY (Sat 7 Dec, from 7pm)

Time to reveal all for the Christmas party! A chance for you to get creative with a London Underground themed party , and yes, that means fancy dress! Team up with others to form Seven Sisters, or go on your own as Blackfriars. Get the tube map out for inspiration- there are plenty of options!

There will be live music courtesy of Rick J’s band, who – for one night only – will be appearing as The Ball Boys. A raffle and two course dinner included as usual too. We will be kicking off at 7pm until late. £20 a ticket in advance or £25 on the door. Sign up as usual via graftonparties@gmail.com or at the bar.
You can also buy RAFFLE tickets in advance; £1 per ticket, or 12 for £10 (available from this weekend at the bar). Prizes to be announced.

If you have anything that you can donate for the raffle-- alcohol, eatable treats, vouchers for restaurants/an activity etc please speak to or email Murray ( murraycsutton@gmail.com ) who is coordinating. Many thanks in advance.

******REFURBISHMENT, and CLUB ACCESS****

Over the next 2 weeks we will be performing some exciting renovation to the club house and drive way. We also have Tennis holiday camps and school access clashes to accommodate.

We’ll do everything possible to keep disruption minimal, but there will some access challenges to work with;

Mon 21st Oct - Fri 25th Oct - No day time changing room access

This year, unusually our children’s holiday camps do not coincide with the nursery’s half term.

To allow these vital sessions to take place the Men’s changing rooms will be closed 10am - 3pm. During these hours members will not have access to the changing room, showers or toilets

Mon 28th Oct - Tues 29th Oct - Driveway Renovation / Club Access Via Thornton Gardens

The driveway will be completely re-tarmaced.

For these two days the drive way will be closed, please;

access the club via Thornton Gardens and along the side of Court 5
please do not park on Thornton Gardens to avoid upsetting residents
take care walking along the bank by court 5. (court lights will remain on all evening)

Sat 26th Oct - Sun 3rd Nov - Club House Flooring Installation

New wood flooring we be installed in the clubhouse and bar.

Club house access and seating areas will be restricted. Bar service and changing rooms will the available as normal. Social Tennis and Squash, as well as Team Practice sessions will take place as usual.

Alan’s Olive Van Quiz Night (Wed 21, at 9pm)

It’s that time again Graftoners. For the first time we have a quiz master trio ready to rattle our brains for the October Quiz. What on earth have Alan (who may not actually be there) Rachel & Jen got in store? Surprises galore, if the rumours are to be believed.
9pm after social tennis - be there!
