After Ciara and Dennis, it may feel like summer's a long way away. But no. While we righly focus on this week's quiz, and the inaugural table tennis social, there are a couple of announcements that have a real summer feel to them, so do read on :

UNLOCKIEING JULES' QUIZ BOX (Wed 19 Feb, 9pm)
Fancy yourself being able to pry open the answer box to 2020's best Grafton Quiz so far?!?? Locky and Jules invite you to a fun, challenging and cryptic quiz at the club on the
19th of Feb
. If you have never been to a quiz at the club before come down and join in the fun, have a drink and meet some fellow members. The quiz standard is about as good as Under 5s tennis so you definitely won't disgrace yourself!
TABLE TENNIS SOCIALS (Thurs 20 Feb, 7pm)
Now that we have two tables permanently in situ (plus equipment) it’s time to start playing!
Starting
this Thursday at 7pm
there will be weekly sessions including a round robin tournament, so however seriously you take the game, come on down. With the Racketlon tournament due in mid May (more on this soon) you’ll need to hone your skills. A coach Lew Hodges (ex Grafton) is coming on the 20th to show us how it’s done.
There's also talk of reviving the table tennis ladder, so plenty to keep us entertained!
SUMMER CHAMPS ARE COMING!
The Grafton Summer Club Champs are almost here. Entries will be opening soon. Finals day is set for
Saturday 25th July 2020
so place that date firmly in your diaries now.
