The Great Grafton Auction & Summer Party, 2nd JULY 7pm The Summer party goes supersize!!! This year, in honour of the Euros, the Summer party adopts an aura of French Class… Our chefs are putting together a fine buffet dinner menu, along with a reception full of bubbles. Throw in prizes, a party until the early hours, and you have the ingredients for a legendary Grafton Summer Bash. Think Paris, think long summer nights on the French Riviera, and dress up in a summer outfit to grace the occasion. What makes the Party Supersize? The Great Grafton Auction - due to start at 8pm. After some amazing generosity from our members we are very proud to present a dazzling collection of Lots for you to bid on. The plan is to raise £6000-£10000 to assist the floodlighting of Courts 1 and 2 and upgrading of the squash building (heating/insulation etc) and make The Grafton an even better sports facility. How does it work? If you cannot attend you can enter your bids either: - By e-mail: graftonauction@gmail.com - At the folder behind the bar We will monitor the pre-bids and incorporate them into the Auction. Plus we will inform bidders of progress to give you the opportunity to up your bid pre-July 2. We will give you visuals/links to the Lots very soon to help you decide on bids. To cater for everyone sign up at the bar is essential: Entry fee £15 Grafton Cup Reminder- 25 June Less than four weeks to go and over half the entries have already gone for the Grafton Cup. Make sure you send your entry to graftoncup2016@gmail.com asap to avoid disappointment! The Grafton Cup is the club's premier one-day doubles tournament on Saturday 25 June. There will be cup, plate and saucer competitions so it's a day filled with tennis, guaranteed! Entries cost £10 per person, including prizes, balls and a sandwich lunch. We'll get the barbecue going mid-afternoon and the bar will be open throughout. Enter as a pair, or singly and we'll match you up. There really is no excuse to miss out!
