This past week the final Summer Champs final was played:
Dawn Plimmer and Giorgina Zinunula retained their Ladies' Doubles title by defeating Melanie Gibbs and Morvern Scott by the score of 57 61 61.
This was a fitting conclusion to what has been a fantastic Summer Champs! Congrats to all our winners, participants and supporters. All of you have helped make each round very exciting and the final matches the fitting climax to the tournaments!

BANK HOLIDAY SOCIAL TENNIS (Mon 28 Aug from 1400)
Bank Holiday Monday 28 August means a chance for extra social tennis! Courts are booked from 1400 so just rock up and mix in. As usual all standards very welcome.
FOX TROPHY PREPARATIONS (2 Sept from 0930 till late, very late)
Yes it's that time of year again, when winning on the tennis court is not nearly as important as winning in the fancy dress arena. It's less than 2 weeks away, so make sure to start getting your outfits sorted and get ready to have a great day and night at this year's Fox Trophy! Any questions to graftonparties@gmail.com.
SQUASH HANDICAP 2017 (Entries open till Mon 11 Sept)
A quick reminder to please enter this year's Squash Handicap tournament. All you need to do is give Lucas £5 and get him to add you to the list (in the bar). Graeme will keep entries open until MONDAY 11th SEPTEMBER and use the list to draw the first round matches that can be played soon after.

This is the last week when you can enter the prestigious Surrey Winter Tennis Knockouts. Here's the link to enter:
