WIMBLEDON FINALS WEEKEND

Wimbledon is back, and so is our annual Wimbledon Finals Weekend.
Come down at the weekend to watch both the Ladies' and Men's finals - live on the big screen.
The bar will be open, and we’ll have additional social tennis courts for us all on Sunday from 2pm.

SQUASH COURT CANCELLATIONS

With the recent up-take in Squash membership we’re sure many of you will have experienced increased difficulty in booking peak time courts . Unfortunately, we are also seeing a large number (50%) of last minute peak time cancellations.

The squash committee would rather not see the introduction of cancellation and no-show fees.

We remind all members to adhere to the booking policies below (some of which have been updated). These are designed to give everyone a fair chance to play, and maximise court usage:

=>
An opponent must be stated on all bookings
Any bookings without a confirmed opponent must be cancelled at least 48 hours beforehand
Bookings without an opponent within 48 hours will automatically cancelled without notice
Solo practice is only permitted outside of peak time hours
Guest bookings are only permitted outside of peak hours

***Peak hours are currently 6pm to 9pm Monday to Thursday.***

We thank you for your understanding and consideration of the above and will continue to review and update in order to strike the most flexible balance.

UNISEX FACILITIES

A reminder that the toilets are unisex. Kindly refrain from using the urinals. Please close cubicle doors behind you when using the facilities. Please be mindful that the facilities are being used by everyone and not exclusively by one particular gender. And of course, face masks need to be worn.

TENNIS COURT BOOKING RULES

If you have to cancel a court, please try to do so as early as possible. If it has to be a last minute cancellation, then please put a message on The Grafton Chronicle Whatsapp chat, so someone else can make the most of that court. > Please state your opponent on your bookings. If you're practising your serve please choose "Serving Practice" as your "opponent".
*** Serving Practice is an off-peak only activity.***
> All bookings with no opponents selected 72 hours in advance of play will be cancelled
> Guest bookings are not permitted in peak hours

Please bear in mind the below hours:

WEEKDAYS:
0800-1600 Off Peak
1600-2200 Peak

WEEKENDS:
0800-1600 Peak
