SQUASH COURTS PLASTERING
The long-awaited plastering of the squash courts is happening and work is imminent.
As there has been general deterioration of the playing surfaces over a period of time, all walls to all 3 courts will be plastered, which we are expecting will improve the playing performance of the courts.
The works are due to start on Monday 2nd September and finishing Friday 6th. During this time, the courts will not be playable between Monday 2nd - Saturday 7th and will be back in play on Sunday 8th. Please keep an eye on for upcoming broadcasts, as the exact dates may be subject to change.
We understand this is a long break from play but we believe it is necessary to give the courts a much needed lift.
SURREY KNOCKOUTS
A reminder that entry for the Winter season 2019/20 is now OPEN! We encourage you to sign up ASAP.
Knockouts singles, doubles and mixed competitions. All age groups up to 65+, so there really is something for everyone.
The deadline for entry is: 26 August
Finals Day is 28 March 2020.

TENNIS COURTS PAINTING
You may have seen on the booking sheets that Courts 1 - 4 are blocked off from Monday 19th - Sunday 25th August inclusive.
The courts are being cleaned and re-painted and, subject to fine weather conditions, they should be ready for play on Monday 26th August. During this time it is essential that the courts are not accessed. We would appreciate your co-operation with this request, so we can get them back into play as soon as possible.

We had some great results at the LTA Wigmore Junior Championships 5th-9th August:
Finn Dempster won Boys Consolation 16 & Under
Rufus Ford Runner-up 12 & Under
Charlie Beales & Deeyi Mark Runner-up Under 18 Boys Doubles
Theo Funnell won 12& Under consolation tournament
