Okay, let's take a quick breather now that the England game is over, and see what other news lies on the horizon. Plenty in this week's bulletin, so do read on:

BRAND NEW SQUASH TOURNAMENT (Sat 21 July) - ENTRIES NOW OPEN!!!
As you may be aware, Saturday July 21st is an important day in the Grafton calendar with the Championship Finals of the tennis. We'd like everyone at the club to get involved, so are also planning a brand new squash tournament to run that day. It is open to all members (so, tennis players not involved in the finals, why not hunt out your squash racquets?).
To enter, please email Andy Webster at andysolo30@hotmail.com or text/call him on 0779 607 1259.
Andy will be confirming the finer details of the tournament a bit nearer the time. There will be a BBQ on the day, along with the opportunity to socialise at the bar and get involved in other fun-filled activities, so come on down!
GRAFTON CUP REMINDER (Sat 23 June from 09:30)
We are very happy to say that we have a full entry for the Grafton Cup this Saturday 23rd June. We will be making the draw for this hotly contended tournament on Wednesday evening after social tennis so if you want to know who your opponents will be (or if you want to grease the palms of the organisers) you know when to come down to the club.
If you weren’t able to get a place, please do still come down on Saturday to spectate and spend money at the bar! We will be starting at 1000, with the knockout stages forecast to start at around 1500. The finals of the Saucer, Plate and Cup will be around 1800-1930 so be sure to come down then!
SQUASH CLOSED FINALS
Over the next few Sundays we will host the Grafton Closed Squash finals. This year we have THREE finals Grade A, B and Plate. The finals will run during club night, so come down and enjoy a game whilst also taking in the matches. Hopeing to persuade Murray to offer cheap drinks at the bar again!
