GRAFTON DOUBLE FAULT JAR

Introducing the Grafton Double Fault Jar! The GDF is a voluntary, honesty-based scheme whereby players can opt to dig in to their copper jars and donate a small amount of money for each double fault committed. To put this into numbers:

295 scheduled matches in this year's summer champs, (and that's without including the Legendettes who are involved in round robin matches!)
3 is the average number of double faults per match among the ATP's top 100 this year.
> 3 is the average number of double faults per match among Grafton members this year.
10p is the suggested donation per double fault
You do the maths...

We're also offering an insurance policy, where for a donation of £1 per match you can double fault to your heart's content. It's all in the name of fun, so please don't feel pressured to partake. For those that do, please gives generously to the jar located on the bar.

FRENCH OPEN FINALS BONANZA (Sat 8 and Sun 9 June)

Mesdames et messieurs:

Sunday 9th June. 2pm. The second grand slam final of the year beckons.
To mark the grand occasion we will be holding a social fantastique!
Come down for social tennis, grab a beverage at the bar and watch the men’s final LIVE!

What about the women's final with hopefully one Jo Konta in it? Absolutely- come on down to watch the final with a knowledgeable, boisterous crowd. Please contact graftoncomms@gmail.com or graftoncommittee@gmail.com if you're willing to help out behind the bar that afternoon. Volunteers are needed! Thanks everyone.

GRAFTON CUP REMINDER: 15 JUNE

It’s less than two weeks until this year’s Grafton Cup. We’re very happy to say that all places have sold out but you should all feel very welcome to come down to spectate and support on the day. Court 1 will also be available for booking, so why not bring your kit with you for a hit in what is sure to be glorious sunshine (eek!).

And whilst we have a super-competitive (and/or super-enthusiastic) field of 48 players, we do occasionally get some last minute drop-outs. If you’re still interested in playing, we will forgive your tardiness and place you on the reserve list - email us at graftoncup@gmail.com.

RESTRING SERVICE CARD PAYMENTS

Now the card machine's working again, we're delighted to announce that we're able to take card payments for all racket restrings.

The service is available by leaving your racket at the bar. One of the coaching team will then work their magic and have it ready for collection within about 3 days.
