AMERICAN DOUBLES & AFTER PARTY (Sat 7 April from 2pm)
The days are slowly getting longer, and spring may just be thinking about making an appearance (today's rain notwithstanding). That means it must be almost time for our annual American Doubles extravaganza!
Put Sat 7th April in your diary and join us for this light-hearted tournament where you’ll switch doubles partners after every ‘mini set’. The race to become the 2018 Champion is sure to once again throw up a few surprises this year.
Entry includes Tea, Cakes, Sweet Treats, a Sweepstake and of course the first Grafton Party of the year!!!
If you’re new to the club, it’s a great way to meet members and get to know Grafton a little bit better.
No need to register; just arrive at 1:45pm on the day and be ready to get spring off to a flyer!
VOTING CLOSES SOON (Sat, 17 Mar at 6pm)
For those of you who may still be mulling over your preferred choice of tennis court re-surface, please register your vote in the ballot box at the bar, by 6pm on Saturday 17th March.
Having been open for nearly a month, it's almost time to close the ballot box and count your votes. If you haven’t yet voted and are not able to make it to the club in time, please contact Murray or Tim, who will try and work out an extension for you.
We’ll announce the results w/c 18th March- Happy Voting!
SUMMER CLUB CHAMPS ENTRY REMINDER
A reminder that the deadline for entries to this year’s summer club championships is this FRIDAY 16TH MARCH.
A special shout-out to any ladies who would like to play in the mixed tournament. We have lots of single men waiting to be partnered up!
There is also a ladies' singles plate tournament this year, if we get enough entries, so you will get at least two matches. We’d love as many ladies as possible getting involved.

• Entry fees are: £5 per person per event (so that’s £10 per doubles pair).
The tournament will run from MONDAY 26th MARCH 2018 until finals day on SATURDAY 21st JULY 2018 – mark those dates firmly in your diary now please.
• The live draw will take place on Wednesday 21st March.
A junior tournament will also be running for U12s and U14s (separate boys and girls tournaments), please contact John Peters directly for details on how to enter.
