Table tennis is back on the Grafton social scene and we really hope to see several squash and tennis players, as well as socialites / generalists with bats in hand, so do read on :

TABLE TENNIS SOCIALS (Thurs 20 Feb, 7pm)
Now that we have two tables permanently in situ (plus equipment) it’s time to start playing!
Starting Thursday 20 February 7pm there will be weekly sessions including a round robin tournament, so however seriously you take the game, come on down. With the Racketlon tournament due in mid May (more on this soon) you’ll need to hone your skills. A coach Lew Hodges (ex Grafton) is coming on the 20th to show us how it’s done.
There's also talk of reviving the table tennis ladder, so plenty to keep us entertained while Ciara's in town...
WIMBLEDON OPT-IN (deadline Fri 14 Feb)
Every year we run an internal ballot at Grafton for tickets to go to Wimbledon. In order to be eligible you must have opted in beforehand. Not only that, you have to also be sure that according to the LTA your home club is Grafton. These are requirements set by the LTA. Don't miss out on the chance of even entering the Grafton ballot because you didn't opt-in beforehand. It really only takes a couple of minutes to do!
Please go to the LTA website to opt in and to make sure that your profile shows Grafton as your home club. The deadline's this Friday!

INTERIM SURVEY RESULTS
We would like to thank the 183 of you who participated in the Club Development Survey. A report identifying the outcomes of the survey is now being prepared by the Development Committee. This is a large project and will take time to prepare. In the interim, we would like to advise:
· The Club House Opening hours are anytime Monday to Sunday. If no one is around please use the back door and code lock (C1469)
· The Bar Opening hours are currently Monday to Thursday 6pm to 11pm, Sunday 5:30pm to 8pm and new hours for Saturday and Sunday between 12pm to 2pm (run by volunteers currently).
· There is free wifi should you need to utilise it. Please ask bar staff for wifi details.
· There is tea, coffee and biscuits offered on an honesty box basis in the kitchen, please feel free to make use of this *new service* especially when the bar itself is closed.
· Anticipated introduction of bacon butties next Saturday 15th Feb from 9am to noon.
· New midweek tennis coaching has begun as follows – Cardio Tennis Wed 11-12, Adult Coaching Social Fri 9.30-11 – all welcome £8 Members, £10 Non-member.
