TIME TO GET FOXEY

Fox Trophy 2019: Sat 7th Sept 2019

After the colossal success of The Grafton Cup and Club Championships it’s time to get Foxy Graftoners. It’s time to invite entries for the last major Tennis event of the year; The one and only FOX TROPHY 2019

For those that are new to the ‘FOX’, this very much a FUN all-day doubles tournament, where top league level players are paired with lower league level players creating a level playing field.
An 'anything goes' dress code is very much encouraged, so get inventive with the fancy dress and help bring the summer season to an end in style!

The £15 entry fee on the day includes balls tea/cakes, trophies, prizes - Lunch - Cup! Trophies! Prizes and the legendary Fox After Party until 3am
Tournament check-in will be 9:30am, and play will run all day until 7pm followed by the (we’ll say it again) the Fox After Party

All standards welcome and very much encouraged. The deadline for entries is Sept 2, places go fast so act now.

COURTS 1 - 4 PAINTING

You may have seen on the booking sheets that Courts 1 - 4 are blocked off from Monday 19th - Sunday 25th August inclusive.


The courts are being cleaned and re-panted to look fresh and provide improved grip for the autumn. Subject to fine weather conditions, they should be ready for play on Monday 26th August. During this time it is essential that the courts are not to be accessed, as this would cause damage to the new paint finish before they are properly dried. We would appreciate your co-operation with this request, so we can get them back into play as soon as possible.

BANK HOLIDAY SOCIAL TENNIS – Monday 26th 2pm
As the August bank holiday approaches do remember that there’ll be an additional social tennis session to help you all get your practice in for the Fox Trophy.
