As the Big Thaw continues, we continue to thrive with various activities on offer:

SQUASH CLOSED TOURNAMENTS
We begin the Grafton Squash Closed shortly, with a view to having the finals in early May. This year we are going to have two GRADED tournaments. In having Grades A and B we hope to include more players and also give those in the lower leagues a chance to play in a high profile final.
GRADE A - open to all club players who either (i) have >
750 points on the Squash Levels, (ii) or play team squash, (iii) or are in Leagues 1-3 currently.
GRADE B - open to players in leagues 4 and below.
Matches will be best of 5 sets to 11 (GRADE A) and 15 (GRADE B). There will be no seedings in the GRADE B tournament- good luck everyone!
If you would like to enter either of these, then please give Lucas £5 and he will add your name to the lists. Closing date Saturday 10 March.
WINTER MIXED FINALE (Saturday 10 March from 1000 followed by Rugby)
The highly successful Winter Mixed tournament reaches its climax next Saturday 10 March. Play commences at 1000 and courts should be available for social tennis too. So even if you’re not involved, do come down to play and help celebrate the tournament prior to trophy presentations and rugby in the bar.
Order of Play will be communicated to participants depending on how the quarter finals pan out. All are scheduled to be played this week.
OPEN DAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED (Sat 24 Mar)
If you haven’t already volunteered please let us know if you’re free to help on Saturday 24th March 9-3pm for Grafton’s 2nd Open Day.
