Greetings Graftonites, This is the beginning of a glorious week! And this week's Newsletter doesn't disappoint... As ever any suggestions or comments (including if you think these bulletins are too frequent) are most welcome. A plea, however. The purpose of the Newsletter is to keep everyone's inbox clutter free. This includes our esteemed Chairperson as well as others. Clubhouse Extended Opening Hours Happily the school are now on holiday until 5 September which allows us access to the Clubhouse midweek daytime. So feel free to organise daytime tennis/squash coffee/lunch gatherings! Remember the Club can also be hired for night-time shenanigans:) Squash Court Renovations The latest about Squash Court 3 is that we are currently getting quotes in for insurance. Do not expect the work to start for at least another few weeks and we will keep you informed. While we have only two courts PLEASE avoid late cancellations. Squash Leagues New new squash leagues have been released.End date is 20-Aug. Neighbourly Love Recently we have been receiving complaints from Radbourne Rd (nearest to courts 3/4) of excessive noise from players. Apparently people are playing at 0730(!) While we applaud your commitment to the cause, if you must play that early please use courts 5/6 and generally please keep noise to a minimum as requested on the signs on court. Thank you.
