Dear Grafton Squash member,
apologies for the multiple emails that you may be receiving ahead of the reopening of the courts tomorrow BUT we need to ensure that you all have the most up to date guidelines.
You should have received the current rules-regulations and they are also displayed on the noticeboard inside of the squash courts.
Some key points
All courts must be pre-booked and the names of all players must be included on the booking. This is to ensure that we know exactly who has been on the courts. This EXCLUDES non-members from using the courts
By making a booking you are agreeing to "responsible members" and agree to take part with NHS track-and-trace if it becomes necessary.
You should take a towel and water onto the court and not leave the court until your session is complete.
While bookings are for 1 hour - this must include a 15 minute airing of the court after you have left. Thus if you arrive late you MUST still vacate the court at 45 mins past the hour
On arrival and departure ensure that you have cleaned your hands and wiped down the door handles
Always ensure that the play on their court complies with the government regulations.
Apart from opening and closing windows at the beginning-end of the day (see below) then the balcony is off limits as we are not doing a deep clean on a daily basis
If you are the first to arrive on the day then please;
Ensure that the entrance door is wedged open, then sanitise their hands and use a sanitised wipe on the door handle and key pad.
Open the ground floor window and first floor windows.
If you are the last booking of the day then please;
Sanitise your hands and close the windows upstairs and downstairs.
Sanitise your hands again and leave the courts closing the door behind you.
There do seem to be a lot of rules and regulations but please remeber that these are there to enusre that ALL members can access the courst safely. It may be that some players are less concerned about the virus than others but we must ensure that are whole community feel safe
Thanks
Graeme
